We start with the NRA Basic Pistol Certification Course. This class is designed for the novice shooter. This is where we instill knowledge, safety and confidence. This course covers the mechanics and operation of both revolvers and semi-automatic pistols, how to load and unload, how to handle malfunctions, misfires, jamming and stoppages, how to clean, carry and transport your firearm with complete safety and confidence, and many other elements.

LAW DAY

New Hampshire Firearms Law

This 3-hour class is taught on the first Saturday of the month from 10AM to 1 PM by one of our prominent criminal defense attorneys. Many aspects of NH Firearms Law are covered, including:

Purchasing, selling, carrying loaded and unloaded, concealed or open, and brandishing vs. criminal threatening. The attorney explains the criminal mindset, the mental elements necessary to commit a criminal act, and the difference between defensive shooting vs. criminal shooting, including within your home. Also covered are your 5th Amendment Rights- What to say to your attorney in a defensive shooting situation and what NOT to say to the police.

THE THIRD ELEMENT

Another Certified NRA Class ~ PPIH

Personal Protection in the Home (PPIH). Now that you have a basic understanding of the operation of your pistol and of firearms law, we now move to home protection. How to defend your home and family with a firearm when lethal force MUST be used against a criminal element that could cause death or serious bodily injury to you or a family member. (The firearm is a tool of last resort.) Shooting from behind barriers, weak side, strong side, low barriers, such as a filing cabinet or a bed, the difference between cover and concealment, moving to/from cover, low light shooting, and much more!
